Our Approach - Relationship-Driven Practice

Studio Underground was built on a simple belief: meaningful opportunities begin with meaningful relationships.

Every artist's practice is different, and every collaboration should reflect that. Rather than following a predetermined model, Studio Underground approaches each relationship with curiosity, transparency, and a genuine commitment to understanding an artist's long-term goals. Sometimes that begins with an exhibition. Other times it grows through workshops, institutional collaborations, brand partnerships, or simply a conversation that evolves over time.

There is no single roadmap. Relationships develop organically through trust, shared experiences, and a mutual commitment to building something meaningful together. As collaborations deepen, so do the opportunities, creating space for artists to expand their practice in ways that feel authentic to who they are and where they want to go.

Studio Underground's relationship-driven approach reflects founder Julianna Vezzetti's experience working across nearly every facet of the contemporary art world. Having served across galleries, exhibitions, art fairs, artist relations, institutional partnerships, cultural programming, and collection development, she understands how thoughtful relationships create the strongest opportunities for artists.

Studio Underground believes artists create their strongest work when they feel trusted, respected, and understood. Every exhibition, workshop, partnership, and collaboration begins with that belief, allowing relationships to develop naturally and evolve alongside each artist's practice.
